The device factory app allows an iOS device to be used a front end for the DF1 bluetooth LE accelerometer. The app currently features:
-x-y-z acceleration
-tap detection (with notifications)
-csv export of data via email
-overall magnitude of acceleration
-continuous average
-max achieved acceleration
-distance estimate
-signal strength
The app and the DF1 are both open source and both will continue to gain features as the community around it grows.
